...With his win last night against the Buffaloes, Fumiya Nishiguchi picked up his 160th career victory.


...Jamie D'Antona wasn't in the line-up tonight due to a leg injury. No further information is currently available.


...The last time the Bay Stars started a season with 6 straight losses was in 1999.


...Abe Shinnosuke is still recovering from a foul tip that bounced off his right knee on Wednesday. He is currently listed as day-to-day.


...The Tokyo Big 6 Baseball League signed a new broadcast agreement with Sky A sports+ after being told by Nippon TV that they would be suspending broadcasts this season. The Tokyo Big 6 was in it's 3rd year of a 5 year contract with Nippon TV; that contract has since been rescinded.

...It was reported Seiichi Kito (former player and manager) passed away on November 4th, 2008, at the age of 88. He was in the hospital undergoing treatment for liver cancer.
