NPB: Graman has shoulder tightness; Yano return in jeopardy; and more

HANSHIN TIGERS

...Akihiro Yano complained of pain in his right elbow during BP practice before his start at Ni-gun. There was some talk about him joining the parent club after the Ni-gun game today, but with pain returning in his elbow, his timetable is no longer certain.

NIPPON HAM FIGHTERS

...Makoto Kaneko set a new NPB record last night when he hit a double in the 6th against Ryota Katsuki -- 7 straight games with a double.

SEIBU LIONS

...Alex Graman was feeling tightness in his left shoulder and was removed from the active roster. He complained of the tightness in the bullpen during the game on the 13th. Eiji Shotsu and Masamitsu Hirano were called up.

YOKOHAMA BAY STARS

...Shuichi Murata started a game at Ni-gun and hit a 2-run homer in his first at bat of the game. He went 2-for-2 in the game and was lifted for a pinch runner in the 4th after getting his second hit.

OTHERS

...Seoul is apparently looking into creating their first ever domed baseball stadium. They are shooting for a 2011 completion date.
