...Norihiro Akahoshi continues to struggle with lower back pains and is currently listed as day-to-day. He was with the team on Wednesday but was not in the dugout -- instead he was receiving treatment in the clubhouse for his back pains.
There are currently no immediate plans to take him off the active roster.
...The entire stadium went red during yesterday's game after the 5th inning when fans in the stands held up pieces of red paper. The paper was handed out to them prior to the game and is part of a project (named "LET'S GO STADIUM PROJECT") to help get the fans more involved at games.

And now perhaps he's facing the unfortunate consequences of throwing too much: he was removed from the active roster earlier today for tightness in his right shoulder.
