Action Shots from the Game

Shunsuke Watanabe... Mr. Sidearm.

Ibata slides home safely in the fourth.

Did you feel the breeze? Blanco swings and misses.

Nothing really special about this shot...
You can view the rest of my action shots from the game here (the images are all out of order unfortunately).

Thanks. I actually took a bunch more pictures, but these were the ones that stood out the most.
For those wondering, I took about 500 pictures in all… Thank goodness for digital cameras!

The shot you got of Watanabe at the release point is neat, as is the one you titled slip ‘n slide. I like that one because the players are set against a sea of green.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to snap a picture of Watanabe’s release point — it shows just how far down he comes from the side.
And that picture of Lambin sliding… It was the first time I really saw a Lotte game from start to finish this season and I have to say, the energy Lambin brings to the game is really great. And I think the fans love him for it.
This shot was actually taken during the pre-game festivities and you can see Lambin out there stretching all by himself (he actually started out doing a little jig and then worked his way towards stretching). And I think the fans just loved it.
My only beef with the slide was that he really didn’t have to do it (the ball wasn’t anywhere near second) so he ran the risk of injury. Still, I thought it was kind of neat that he did it. You can tell he’s having a lot of fun out there.
