Naoto Watanabe missed a bunt in the 10th inning and Hijirisawa got caught off first...
We're still losing in really bad ways. If you lose after doing the right things, at least you have something to take with you the following day.

What about the failed bunt attempt...
He tried to bunt a bad ball. Do you really think the first pitch is really going to be the best pitch to bunt on? Those kinds of bunts can really kill an inning.

Getting picked off right after that...
It all began with Watanabe not being able to move the runner over. [Because of the failed bunt] we had to considering using other tactics, and if you don't see a pick-off move after two pitches and you still take a really big lead... At that point you need to think a pick-off will be coming soon. The players still don't know strategy.

Tanaka surrendered a key hit to Ohtake...
He finally got the second out. That was just a little careless. If you include those kinds of things the level of baseball is very poor, childish. But that Ohtake is a good pitcher. I'm envious. He's got good baseball sense. And he seems to have a good head on his shoulder's in the batter's box as well.

Tanaka doesn't get much run support...
Maybe that's just his luck? In his first year he'd give up 4-5 runs and wouldn't lose.

I'm glad we were able to win one game. Now I hope that we can win at least one against Hanshin. We lose and then board the Shinkansen... I'd really like to take one of these things after winning.
