...The Swallows are heading in the direction of permanently banning all jet balloons from Jingu Stadium. This comes on the heals of a temporary ban that was started on May 24th due to the swing flu. Sanitation and the amount of time it takes to clean-up all the jet balloons were cited as reasons for the potential permanent ban.
...Shinnosuke Abe's back appears to be ok. Abe hopes to be in the starting line-up when play resumes on the 26th (he was being used off the bench).
