On not being able to get the complete game...
More than not being able to get a complete game, I was just happy that we won. I was so focused on pitching that I didn't feel tired at all.

What were you being careful about?
I was careful about keeping my balance centered, so I really focused on making sure I kept my head in proper position. I found that I was able to throw decent pitches even at 70-80%.

This was an important game. Did you think about that at all when you pitched?
I was just really so focused on pitching that my head was spinning. I had to get an ice pack part-way through the game to help cool off my neck.

Up until this start, you tended to fall apart around / after the 6th inning...
I especially worked hard against the 4, 5, and 6 batters that came up to bat in the 7th. I just try to pitch each inning, one at a time, as if each inning would be my last.
