Some comments from Katsuya Nomura after his team dropped it's sixth straight game.

The relievers were hit today...
What can you do... There's no one else I can turn to.

Like I said before, walks are just bad. It makes everyone anxious and it makes the pitcher anxious. How many walks did we give up today?

Nine...
<silence>

We gave up 4 walks in that inning we gave up some runs in. We can't win like that. It's self-destructive baseball. Our opponents don't have to do a thing and they can still get a win. It's losses forever for us.

The offense was pretty active...
All weaks teams have one similar characteristic: you score some runs and you give them right back; can't hold onto a lead. That's the way it's been since the beginning. It's no use complaining about it, we just need to figure out a solution.

I wonder why our pitchers can't throw strikes. I just don't know what the reason is. I think it can only be one of two things: fear or skill. Baseball is a game you play as a group, so when you catch the "no control disease" it can spread.
