Game 2: 37th Annual USA vs. Japan Collegiate Championship Series

Panoramic View of the Tokyo Dome
I was at the game (went with Deanna from Marinerds) on Monday night to watch Game 2 of the US vs Japan Collegiate Championship Series (that image of the Tokyo Dome up above is mine).
A few things come to mind real quick about the game.
4 Japanese players were caught stealing (I thought there was a 5th, but I guess that inning ended with a strike out and not a caught stealing). It was really pretty silly. Grandal obviously had a cannon for an arm and yet Japan just kept on stealing.
The text play-by-play mentions that Japan bunted 6 times. But that doesn't include the number of times batters squared early in the count but ended up not bunting later on. Incidentally, Kamegai recorded 2 bunt singles.
I wasn't entirely impressed with Saito. But I was impressed by Oishi and Sugano (Tatsunori Hara's nephew). I was especially surprised by Sugano. He threw what appeared to be a very lively fastball and hit 150+ km/h more than a couple of times when he first got on the mound. After that, he seemed to be in the low to mid-140s range, but you could really hear "the pop" of the catcher's glove.
For some reason, the US team kept celebrating after every little positive thing. It got especially silly when they jumped out of the dugout after scoring their Colon came around to score in the first inning. The entire dugout emptied and literally ran over to where Colon was to hi-five him. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. And it wasn't just that one time either.
