HANSHIN TIGERS

...Kyuji Fujikawa picked up his 10th save last night against the Chunichi Dragons. That now gives him 4 consecutive seasons of 10 or more saves.

...Satoru Kanemura will likely get his first start of the year against the Yomiuri Giants on the 19th. Tomoyuki Kubota is still in line to make his first start of the year against the Chunichi Dragons on the 16th.

...Norihiro Akahoshi took 91 swings of the bat during BP on Tuesday. As of now, the team hopes he'll be ready to return on the 17th when the Tigers take on the Yomiuri Giants at Tokyo Dome.

...Both Akihiro Yano and Jeff Williams played in yesterday's game against Ni-gun Softbank. Depending on how Yano is feeling, he could be with the parent club as early as today. The team will take an extra day to check on how Williams is feeling, meaning he could be ready to join the parent club tomorrow.
