Kobe 9 Cruise: Murakami picks up first win as MGR of Kobe, only 152 fans show

by on Aug.02, 2009 @ 3:13 pm, under Independent

Shinichi Murakami picked up his first win as manager of the Kobe 9 Cruise on Saturday when his team beat the Akashi Red Soldiers 1-0.

From the sounds of things, it seems like the 4-5 players that were boycotting a game on Friday were back to play on Saturday. Seems they thought sitting out of game were be counter-productive and could make Yoshihiro Nakata look bad.

So while the players appear to be getting back into the playing spirit, the fans have not.

Only 152 fans showed up on Saturday. And the team has averaged only 637 people over the team's last 5 home dates.

    Dear Gwynar,

Sorry to distrub you. Since I have no other way to approach you,
I decide to leave the message directly to your post.

It took me almost 20 years to re-unite with EWB, which
brought me the great time. Something even better is I
have found there is possibly updated stats for this classic
game. Unfortunately, the site people refer with
2006/07/08 stats are all shut and I could not find any of
them on cyber space. I guess EWB die-hard fans like you
are getting less and less. Therefore I would be grateful
if you are withholding season 2003/ 2006/2007/2008 stats
could e-mail the file to psxhunter@yahoo.com and I
would like to thank you in advance.

With the porting project to iPhone, the comback of EWB
is just the matter of time

PS: your interest in NPBL is really impressive, I barely
notice them for almost a decade, maybe since
    Hideo Nomo went to Dodgers
