...Norihiro Akahoshi apparently has internal bleeding in his left knee from when he slid into home base and came into awkward contact with Shinnosuke Abe in last night's game against the Yomiuri Giants. Akahoshi is to get additional testing today and the results from those tests will available tomorrow. Still, the team is taking things slowly and will be removing Akahoshi from the active roster.
...The Eagles announced that jet balloons will be allowed at Kleenex Stadium, starting with their 3-game series against the Nippon Ham Fighters on the 7th.
...Takeya Nakamura is currently hitting home runs at a pace of 1 every 2.67 games. If he can keep that up, he'll have 54 at the end of the season, 1 shy of the NBP record.
