...Ryo Hijirisawa tests for the flu virus came up negative. He had a fever on Sunday and was taken to a hospital in Fukuoka for testing. He was still taken off the active roster on Sunday.

...Bay Stars acting owner Kuniaki Sasaki confirmed that Tomio Tashiro will not be returning at Ichi-gun manager next season but has been asked to return as a Ni-gun manager.
"We did indeed talk," said Sasaki, "We need to decide who the next Searex manager will be. There's no denying Tashiro's ability."
...Seth Greisinger's return to the Ichi-gun roster might be delayed a few days -- it appears he's suffering from a tired tired shoulder/elbow. He has spent most of his time in Ni-gun riding a stationary bike and has not done anything throwing yet.
