Norichika Aoki went 4-for-5 last night against the Hanshin Tigers and is now batting .300 on the year. I'm sure he isn't too happy about the team losing, but it's still pretty amazing what he's doing over the last couple of months.
As I've mentioned in other posts before, Aoki was batting .249 at the All-Star Break. After that, he went on to bat .367 (80-for-218) to raise his average to .300. To break that down a bit more, he batted .345 in August and then .390 in September.
I wonder now what he'd be batting if he started off the season normally.
