Hiroshima Carp

...Colby Lewis would like to return to Hiroshima next season.

Yakult Swallows

...Masato Hanada and Noriyuki Shiroishi played in their last regular season games of the year on Monday night.

Hanada entered the game in relief in the 7th and retired the one batter he faced.  Shiroishi entered the game as a pinch hitter in the 8th and hit a double.  He later crossed the plate as the Swallows' tying run of the game.

After the game, the two were presented with flowers and tossed up into the air.

Yokohama Bay Stars

...The Bay Stars are looking to extending the net out in right.

There is a nursery school out beyond the right field outer wall and there have been a number of balls that have landed dangerously close to the school grounds.  The team will likely put up larger netting when they stadium undergoes construction in December.

Yomiuri Giants

...Not a very good Phoenix League outing for Shun Tono: 5 IP, 8 H, 4 R.
