Sponichi is reporting that the first MLB team Yusei Kikuchi will be meeting is the Los Angeles Dodgers and assistant GM Logan White.
The Dodgers have been eying Kikuchi for 2 years now. And whether or not that's the reason, Kikuchi also appears to have a fairly positive view of the Dodgers.

Logan White flew into Japan on Sunday in preparation of his meeting with Kikuchi.
"I've seen him play and I can't help but feel that this is one player we need to get. We have the facilities and would love to help him grow into the future ace he can become," said White about Kikuchi.
Keiichi Kojima (Dodger's chief scout in Japan) has been following Kikuchi since his first year of high school. Kojima has went to many of Kikuchi's starts and has even attended a number of his practices throughout the years.
Some more comments from White:
When did you start eying Kikuchi?
Since about 2 years ago our chief scout in Japan started sending us reports and videos that were really high on him. I can't really get into details, but I don't think I need to mention that he's a pitcher with a lot of talent and potential.
Why are you so interested in Kikuchi?
The thing I really like about him is his general personality and his overall sincerity toward the game of baseball. His ability to work out of problems and maintain focus while on the mound, his respect toward his family, his manager, and his teammates; and his desire to go to the Majors... These are all things that make him a great signing.
How did you prepare for the meetings?
He's been getting a lot of attention here in Japan. The one thing I think we all need to remember is that he shouldn't be forced to move in one direction or another and that he should decide how he wants to live out his life. I'm really excited about finally getting the chance to meet this kid I've fallen in love with.
