Hanshin Tigers

...The Mayumi Fresh Award will be handed out to a player 30 years of age or younger and making less than 30M yen a year.  The winner of the award will get a prize reward worth 10M yen.

The award will be present during Fan Appreciation Day (11/21) and at this point, Atsushi Noumi appears to be the front-runner for the award.

The Tigers organization is also considering bringing the award back again next season as an incentive to keep young players motivated.

...The Hanshin Tigers are planning to get serious during the upcoming Fall camp.  That means players will be seeped in baseball, 24-7.

Rumors of night training, early morning walks...  10 hours days will likely be planned for the players.

Hiroshima Carp

...The Carp plan to introduce video training during their upcoming Fall camp.

"At night, we'll mostly have night practice, but we'll also make time to go over game videos in order to get a better understanding of situations. ... It's about getting the body and mind both tired," said Carp manager, Kenjiro Nomura.

Orix Buffaloes

...The Buffaloes are thinking about increasing the number of field seats at Kyocera Dome.  The team is also considering other plans for the Dome that include installing new turf in the infield and outfield, as well as moving the bullpens.  In all, it will likely take the club a few hundred million yen.
