Seibu Lions could pick Yusei Kikuchi regardless of his decision

The Lions held their scout meeting on Tuesday to discuss their draft strategies and go over their list of 40 possible draft candidates.
The scout meeting lasted about an hour and the Lions did not spend any time discussing what they will do should Yusei Kikuchi decide to start his career in the Majors.
"We can't really make any decisions until Kikuchi makes his decision. In any event, at this point today, we didn't talk about what we'd do if he decided to pick the Majors," said club president Shinji Kobayashi.
