Club president Hiroshi Mikitani, team owner rep Tomoharu Inoue, and Katsuya Nomura met after the game against the Nippon Ham Fighters on Thursday.

At the meeting, Mikitani thank Nomura for his 4 years of hard work.  They also offered Nomura a 3-year contract to be their honorary manager.  Nomura had said that he wasn't interested in the position, but is now said to be leaning towards accepting it.  An official announcement could be made sometime in the near future.

Mikitani also mentioned that to Nomura that Marty Brown will be the next Eagles' manager and that the announcement of his appointment will take place at the end of the Eagles' season.
