...The Chunichi Dragons forgot to give the sign that they wanted to participate in the Ikusei Draft and were almost shut out of the proceedings.  It wasn't until after their spot was skipped and the Swallows made a selection that the Dragons realized they weren't counted as being a part of the draft.

Fortunately for Chunichi, they were allowed to get back into the proceedings after none of the participating clubs objected.

...Takao Suwabe, drafted in the 6th round by the Chunichi Dragons, isn't happy about being selected so late during the draft.  In fact, he's so upset that he might even turns the Dragons down.

...More on Yusei Kikuchi's uniform number: 12 is currently the only number open between 10 and 19 but there is talk that some Lions' players will step forward to offer their numbers to Kikuchi if he wants them.

...The last time the Lions drew the winning card for a first place pick that involved 5 other teams was back in 1985 when they pulled the winning card for Kazuhiro Kiyohara.
