Hanshin Tigers

...visited 6th round draft pick Fumihito Haraguchi yesterday (10/31).

...The Tigers are trying to set up a face-to-face meeting with 5th round draft pick Shunsuke Fujikawa.  But there are a few hurdles to clear before that can happen.

Tatsumoto Enomoto, Fujikawa college baseball manager, said, "We need to give Toho Gas an explanation of what happened.  We also need to provide 11 NPB clubs with an explanation as well.  After that, I'll try to get Fujikawa to sit down with Hanshin.  I'd also like to hear what Fujikawa has to say about this as well."

Rakuten Eagles

...The Eagles will likely take it slow with 1st round draft pick Kenji Tomura and start him at Ni-gun next season.

Seibu Eagles

...Yusei Ramen anyone?  A famous noodle shop near Hanamaki Higashi High school is thinking about adding a Yusei Ramen meal to the menu.

Yusei Kikuchi is known for enjoying a good bowl of Ramen noodles.

...The Lions are thinking about putting Kikuchi in the same room that Kazuhiro Kiyohara, Koji Akiyama, Kazuo Matsui, Daisuke Matsuzaka, and Hideaki Wakui all lived in.

Yomiuri Giants

...visited 2nd round draft pick Masato Kiyashiki yesterday (10/31).  Kiyashiki was the first player to be drafted out of a technical college.  He will begin training near World Heritage site Kumano Kodo.
