Around the NPB Horn: Eagles and Hawks

Rakuten Eagles
...Fall practice started up today at Kleenex Stadium. Everyone on the team except Takeshi Yamasaki, Norihiro Nakamura, and the foreign players showed up.
Practice consisted of situational fielding and BP.
Beginning tomorrow, young players will continue to work out at Kleenex Stadium while the veterans will move onto the Ni-gun training facilities and work-out at their own pace.
Marty Brown will be joining up with the team later next week.
Softbank Hawks
...Hawks' Fall camp started up today and will run until 11/21. Sadaharu Oh will work with the younger players between the 4th and the 6th.
Koji Akiyama's goal for Fall camp:
"I want to improve our teams skills and conditioning. I also want to draw out our mental / emotional strength."
