Around the NPB Horn: Marines to introduce the Kim-chi Burger?

Chiba Lotte Marines

...The Marines are considering a new menu item to celebrate the signing of Tae-Gyun Kim.

The Lotteria inside Chiba Marine Stadium could be adding a new burger to their menu: the Kim-chi Burger.  The cost of the burger will likely be 520yen, taken from Kim's uniform number, 52.

Hanshin Tigers

...Club president Nobuo Minami's message to the team from the Thursday's final meeting of the year:

You have time off in December and January.  During that time, I want you to remember you're a member of the Tigers and not to forget you're a professional.  Spend your time wisely and have a good break.

...Yuya Ando hopes that he'll be able to reach the elusive 200 innings mark next season.

...Senichi Hoshino also attended the final meeting.  He's also thinking about attending this year's old timer's meeting.

...Toshiya Nakashima was recently married to a Seimi Kure.  They will be holding a ceremony on December 20th in Fukuoka.

...Eagles' Fall practice ended on Thursday.

...Forgot to mention: the Lions are not only looking to hold a Red Carpet event at Fan Appreciation day on the 23rd, they're also hoping to have the world's longest Red Carpet at 960 meters.

Softbank Hawks

...The Hawks are thinking about creating a Sadaharu Oh Memorial Hall on the Yahoo Dome premises.

Yakult Swallows

...Yoshinori Sato will be signing a deal with Mizuno in just his second year.  The last player to do that was Hideki Matsui.

Yomiuri Giants

...Wirfin Obispo made sure not to forget his passport for a second straight day and safely boarded a plan on Thursday for the Dominican Republic.

Other

...Toshihisa Nishi will be running a baseball clinic for about 14 elementary school children with baseball experience.  The clinic will cost 25,200yen for three days of instruction (1/11, 18, 25).

And according to the article, Nishi is still set on trying out for the Majors.
