...Yukio Hatoyama tossed out the ceremonial first pitch of the game and made a strong throw for a strong.

...Sho Nakata made two bad running plays during the game.  In the 6th, Nakata hit a drive between left and center.  When he got past first and paused a bit too long and ended up with just a long single.  The batter after him, then hit a single into right.  Nakata rounded second and kept going, only to be thrown out a third.

...Yutaro Ohsaki replaced Tomoaki Sato on the final roster due to an injury.

Sho Nakata looked like a big dumbass in this game.

Also, wherever you translated this from (Sportsnavi??) is missing a few plays. There was a passed ball in the bottom of the 7th during Ginjiro’s at-bat, so when Sakamoto came up there were runners on second and third.

Bunch of defensive changes too. Yamato came into the game in the tpo of the 6th. Ono and Okazaki and Soh-chan all came in for the bottom of the 7th.

And Taki’s single… man, that was embarrassing for Sakamoto as well, it was this big fly ball to shallow left field that Sakamoto lost in the lights or something, because it dropped next to him. But I’m happy as I’m rather fond of Taki-kun, so it was good for him to get the only RBI for the college side.

Shame about getting Kazuki Nishijima’s worse side today (he’s like that… I like him too, but still don’t trust him to be consistent. When he’s on, though, he’s awesome).

I saw the play by Sakamoto later during the sports’ show highlights… That was an awful play. I was spinning around out there trying to right himself and then it just dropped right next to him. Ordinarily, I think he makes that play.

As for the replay text… Yep, I did indeed translate it from SportsNavi. In looking at the 7th, I see I missed the part with the passed ball.

Thanks for the defensive changes. SportsNavi doesn’t list all of them.
