Giants and Buffaloes work out a trade: Yasunari Takagi for Hiroshi Kisanuki

The Yomiuri Giants and Orix Buffaloes are apparently working on a trade that would send Hiroshi Kisanuki to the Buffaloes for Yasunari Takagi.
The Giants are in the process of trying to bolster their pitching staff and feel that another left-handed pitcher will bring them one step closer to fulfilling that goal, while the Buffaloes are looking for more depth in the rotation and in the relief core from the right-side.
If talks continue along smoothly, an official announcement could be made some time today.

Doesn't really have anything to do with the trade specifically, but it appears as though Yasunari Takagi has plans to get married to a Hiromi Kanesawa (sp? - 金沢宏美). The wedding ceremony is to take place in a hotel in Osaka on the 12th.
The two have been dating since they met in December 2006 through a common friend.
I guess the question is, is this a good surprise, or a bad surprise for Takagi and his soon to be wife?

The deal was officially announced earlier today.
Takagi's new uniform number will be 13. No word on what Kisanuku's new number will be as of yet.

The Buffaloes assigned Kisanuki the number 12.

The Giants held a press conference to introduce Takagi on Monday. The Giants also signed Takagi to a contract worth 24M yen.

Hard not to like this trade for Orix if it goes through.
