Pro Yakyu All-Star Sports Festival 2009

36 players participated in an event called Pro Yakyu All-Star Sports Festival on Thursday.

The event took place in front of a live audience in Osaka and will be broadcast on Nippon TV affiliates on January 10th, 1:30pm.

The event has become part of the NPB off-season ever since it first started back in 1985.

...7,189 fans attended the event.

...Toshiya Sugiuchi and Tadashi Settsu did not attend the event because they were not feeling well.  In their place, Hiroki Kokubo attended.  The Hawks sent only two players to the event.
