Punishment sentences handed down by Japan Student Baseball Association

The Japan Student Baseball Association met on Thursday to determine punishment sentences for the 38 high schools that were reported by the Japan High School Baseball Federation for breaking rules.

They are as follows:

Game Suspensions

Aomori Minami High School (Aomori) - 3 months beginning 9/15 for violence and bullying within the team

Ohi High School (Saitama) - 6 months beginning 9/14 for violence within the team, shoplifting, theft

Iwa High School (Hyogo) - 1 month beginning on 9/24 for  smoking

Iwamizawa Nogyo High School (Hokkaido) - 6 months beginning on 10/16 for shoplifting

Wakamatsu High School (Fukuoka) - 1 month beginning on 9/30 for shoplifting

Hatsuka-ichi Nishi High School (Hiroshima) - 1 month beginning on 11/3 for smoking amongst team members

Osaka Soft Baseball Club (Osaka) - 1 month beginning on 11/2 for shoplifting by team members

Iwata Nishi High School (Shizuoka) - 3 months beginning on 11/11 for shoplifting by team members

Haruhigaoka High School (Aichi) - 1 month beginning on 11/20 for stealing by team members

Araya High School (Akita) - 3 months beginning on 10/28 for bullying and financial extortion amongst the team

Inage High School (Chiba) - 3 months beginning on 11/24 for violence amongst the team

Kurayoshi Kita High School (Tottori) -  1 year beginning on 11/11 for violence and bullying amongst the team

Kawaura High School (Kumamoto) soft baseball - 1 month beginning on 11/20 for drinking, driving a bike without a license

Fujisawa Sogo High High School (Kanagawa) - 1 month beginning on 11/16 for shoplifting, eating without paying

Suspensions

Kanazawa Gakuin Higashi High School (Ishikawa) club president - 3 months beginning on 9/30 for failure to report violence within the team in a timely fashion

Meishu Gakuen Hitachi High School (Ibaraki) coach, president - 1 year beginning on 8/19 for the coach's violent actions within the club and 3 months beginning on 10/21 for the president's failure to report the incident in a timely fashion

Kawanishi Meiho High School (Hyogo) manager - 1 month beginning on 9/19 for the manager's violent actions within the club

Iwakura High School (Tokyo) manager - 3 months beginning on 11/7 for violence within the team

Seiritsu Gakuen (Tokyo) coach - 3 months beginning on 11/19 for violence amongst the team

Takajo High School (Miyazaki) manager - 6 months beginning on 10/2 for poor coaching of junior high students

Kurayoshi Kita (Tottori) manager and baseball head - 1 year (for both the manager and baseball head) beginning on 11/11 for a delay in reporting violence and bullying

Warnings

Kanazawa Gakuin Higashi High School (Ibaraki) - going overboard on violence

Matsuyama Jonan High School (Ehime) - violence amongst the team

Mutsu Kogyo High School (Aomori) - violence amongst the team

Hokkaido Sakae High School (Hokkaido) - violence outside the team

Miyakosuisan High School (Iwate) - stealing a bike and riding it without a license

Yamada High School (Iwate) - stealing a bike and riding it without a license

Mito Heisei High School (Ibaraki) - driving a bike without a license and getting into an accident

Ichikawa Minami High School (Chiba) - stealing amongst the team

Fusso High School (Tokyo) - violating rules in the Pro/Amateur rule book

Miyakonojo Shogyo High School (Miyazaki) - drinking and smoking

Sozo Gakuen University High School (Nagano) - the coach's traffic accident

Mitoyo Kogyo High School (Kagawa) - bullying amongst the team

Miyakonojo Kogyo High School (Miyazaki) - bullying outside the team

Asahi Nogyo High School (Chiba) - smoking and bicycle theft

Okinawa Suisan High School (Okinawa) - smoking

Kakogawa Kita High School (Hyogo) - problems with the prefecture chairman, chief, and manager during a game

Tenri High School (Nara) - coerced indecency

A school from Kyoto - coerced indecency

A school from Ibaraki - coerced indecency
