Hiroshima Carp sign Justin Huber and Jeff Fiorentino

The Hiroshima Carp announced on Tuesday that they signed Jeff Fiorentino (OF) and Justin Huber (INF).
Fiorentino gets a contract worth 40M yen plus incentives and a 10M yen signing bonus; Huber 40M yen plus incentives and a 5.5M yen signing bonus.

This is Fiorentino’s first season in Japan. You can see his stats for the current season over at the official NPB site.
Assuming a conversion rate of 100yen per dollar, 40M yen is worth about US$400,000.
It is about $400,000 for the 40m yen. With the current weak dollar it is actually a little bit more.
