Colby Lewis to leave the Hiroshima Carp

The Hiroshima Carp announced that Colby Lewis is leaving the club due to health problems related to his family.
The Carp and Lewis were close to signing a 2-year deal prior to the announcement.
Losing Lewis will definitely hurt the Carp next season.

The Carp had offered Lewis a 2-year deal worth about 176M yen (US$2M) a year. It's possible that a team in the MLB also has an interest in Lewis.
