The 55 Challengers took on the Ganbaro Kobe Dreams in a charity match on Sunday to mark the 15th anniversary of the 1995 Hanshin - Awaji earthquakes.

There were three levels of tickets:

A portion of the proceeds from the game were donated to the Kobe Citizen's Fund (しみん基金・KOBE).

...This was Katsuki Furuki's last "official game."  He was released from the Orix Buffaloes in October.  He has decided to move onto mixed martial arts.

...Tomotaka Sakaguchi entered the game in the 9th and hit 140km/h on the radar gun.
