...Atsushi Noumi thinks that there's too much time between when he warms up prior to a home game and when he actually takes the mound. As such, Noumi plans on hold two warm-up sessions before home games next year -- once, as usual, 2 hours before the start of the game; and a second time right before the start of the game.
...Kyuji Fujikawa would like to see Kazuya Tsutsui step up next season and succeed as Jeff Williams' replacement in the pen.
...The City of Matsudo in Chiba presented Hideaki Wakui with an award on Wednesday. About 1,500 elementary school kids showed up for the award ceremony.
...Nobuhiko Matsunaka, Nobuhiro Matsuda, and Ryuma Kidokoro attended a charity event on Tuesday to get rid of drunk driving. They have been taking part in the event since 2007. Matsunaka would like to see Matsuda continue the tradition after he retires.
...Yoshiaki Fujioka is making changes to his pitching motion and has decided to incorporate some of the mechanics employed by Kimiyasu Kudo. He's hoping that the changes will allow him to prolong his career, much in the same way Kudo's career has lasted.
...Akihiro Yanase plans on turning to Nagisa Arakaki for advice and help during the off-season. Both players are going rehabbing injuries -- Yanase his right elbow and Arakaki his right shoulder.

...Shun Yamaguchi, Shingo Takeyama, Noriharu Yamazaki, and Yuta Naito took part in a baseball clinic at Yokohama Stadium on Wednesday. About 400 elementary school children showed up for the clinic that started at 9am.
...Takahiro Suzuki has been working out at the Giants' Kawasaki training complex during the off-season and doesn't plan on taking any days off for New Years. Lately, he has been working on trying to put more power behind his swing and is taking a slightly closed stance approach to hitting. Suzuki is also working on strengthening his upper body with weights.
...Takuya Fukata worked out for about 3 hours on Wednesday. He spent most of it lifting weights. He was also seen playing catch with a softball.
...Tetsuya Yamaguchi has been working on increasing his stamina in preparation of his conversion to a starting pitcher. As such, most of his training so far has involved running, something he isn't used to do. Yamaguchi has also increased the amount he eats since all the running he's been doing usually leaves him with an empty stomach.
