Yomiuri Giants looking for a interpreter

by on Dec.28, 2009 @ 4:53 pm, under NPB

If you can switch back and forth between English and Japanese, the Yomuiri Giants might have some use for you.

According to the Giants' official website, they are currently in the market for an interpreter that can do English and Japanese.  Seems Spanish would also be a plus.

Requirements (other than English, Japanese, and perhaps some Spanish):

  1. knowledge of baseball
  2. around 30 years of age
  3. living in the Tokyo area and can begin work in mid January 2010
  4. can travel with the team

You can get more information about the job opening by visiting the link up above.

You’re applying for this, I hope? Seems like a perfect gig for you (and you even actually LIKE the Giants)

Someone else forwarded it to me, but I know my Japanese isn’t nearly good enough, nor my Spanish, even though my JHS students can be fooled on both counts…
