...Shunsuke Fujikawa is eating 5-6 meals a day in order to increase his weight. He apparently lost about 5kg back when he was still trying to work out whether or not he wanted to turn pro after being drafted in the 5th round. Fujikawa is now about 2kg off his target weight of 71kg.
...Yusei Kikuchi is scheduled to move into the Lions' player dorms some time today. The Lions plan on beefing up security in case a lot of fans show up.
...Tetsuya Yamamoto moved into the player dorms on Wednesday, along with a bottle of Dom. The Dom was apparently a gift from friends. Yamamoto plans on saving the bottle for when he makes it.

...Kota Kobayashi loves his J-Pop idols. He moved into his dorm on Wednesday with 300 music CDs in tow.
...Masumi Hoshino arrived at the Giants' player dorms on Wednesday wearing casual street clothes and was apparently scolded by the dorm super that he should have worn a suit instead.
...Hisayoshi Chono got an "Ichi-gun player dorm room." These dorm rooms include a bathroom and are on the second floor. First year players hardly ever get assigned one of these rooms.
...Yomiuri Giants' owner Takuo Takihana thinks the team needs a superstar player and feels Yuki Saito would fit that bill.
...Hirokazu Sawamura doesn't have a problem with being drafted by any of the 12 NPB clubs.
...Two clubs sent three scouts to watch Keio University's first practice session of the year on Wednesday. Keio's practice ended with a 5-km run, 500 practice swings, and some sumo wrestling.
