Chiba Lotte Marines

...Yuta Ohmine was relieved when he learned that the Marines were going to sign his younger brother Shota to a contract.

Yuta is currently working out with Masato Kurotaki and Tetsuya Yamamoto in Ishigakijima.  The three have been staying over at the Ohmine house during their training.  They have also been giving Shota advice whenever they can.

Hanshin Tigers

...Kazuhito Futagami and Masanori Fujihara will both be holding bullpen sessions on the 20th.

Seibu Lions

...Yusei Kikuchi met Takayuki Kishi for the first time on Sunday.  Kikuchi later told reporters that he would like to learn how to throw a curve from Kishi.

Kishi was hoping to talk to Kikuchi more in the locker room, but Kikuchi apparently didn't make an attempt, even when they were the only 2 in the room.  What's more, they won't have a chance to meet again until Spring camp.

...The Lions are currently thinking about taking Kikuchi along to all their exhibition games.  They feel it might be good to expose Kikuchi to as much pro-level baseball as possible.  The Lions also did the same for Daisuke Matsuzaka and Hideaki Wakui.

Yomiuri Giants

...The nine newest Giants spent some time signing autographs for fans at Giants Stadium in Kawasaki on Sunday.  They met with about 200 fans.  This is all part of the greater plan of players giving back to the fans.

...3rd round draft pick Kyohei Tsuchimoto tossed his first bullpen session on Sunday.  He threw about 30 pitches, all fastballs.
