...A number of players, including Tadahito Iguchi, Naotaka Takehara, and Tsuyoshi Nishioka, started their day at a little after 8am.
The opening ceremony that was set for 9:30 was canceled after a sudden downpour. The first day of Spring camp began with indoor training.
...Makoto Imaoka more or less has a spot on the roster, but needs to show that he really does belong during his tryouts. In fact, it doesn't seem like the team will make him do anything special during his tryouts. Instead he'll just mix in with the rest of the team. The team also appears to have the number 2 ready for Imaoka.
On Sunday, after spending time on some training, he reported to a general team meeting.
Imaoka told reporters that he wants to join the team to help them become champions. He also said that if he didn't think he could still play, he wouldn't be in Okinawa vying for a spot to play.
