...Takashi Ogino, Tomohisa Ohtani, and Ikuhiro Kiyota tried their hand at a Yaeyama traditional dance called "Mamido-ma" (マミドーマ) on their day off  Friday.

...Ohtani threw 611 pitches during the first session of Spring camp.

...A complete list of pitchers that threw more than 200 pitches on Thursday:

In addition to Takumi Nasuno (300), Yuki Karakawa (236), and Yuta Ohmine (205), there was also Shunuske Watanabe (217), Tomohisa Ohtani (210) and Hiroki Ueno (205).

...On the final day of the first session, six pitchers threw more than 200 pitches, including three that established new highs: Yuki Karakawa 236, Yuta Ohmine 205, and Takumi Nasuno 300 (also a club high).

Karakawa has thrown a total 574 pitches over four days and says that he might ended up throwing 300 pitches at some point as well.  Nasuno has thrown 646 pitches over four days.

For those wondering, it took Nasuno about an hour and 40 minutes to throw 300 pitches.

Interestingly enough, Sponichi mentions that Bobby Valentine placed a 20-minute time limit on each pitcher while Sanspo mentions a 60-pitch limit.
