...Takeru Imamura and Taketo Kawaguchi visited Ryukyu Village on their day off Friday.

...Kawaguchi held a bullpen session on Thursday and threw 80 pitches.  Pitching coach Yutaka Ohno stood in the batter's box for a number of pitches and liked what he saw.  Kenjiro Nakamura also watched the session and approved.

...Yuki Saito is working on a two-seam fastball.

...Nomura was happy with the way the first session of Spring camp ended.  He was especially happy about how quickly the pitchers have progressed.

...Takeru Imamura was set to throw about 60 pitches during his bullpen session on Thursday, but ended up stopped after 39.  There was initially some concern that Imamura hurt himself, but instead it turns out that he didn't think it made sense to continue pitching on a day where he simply couldn't pull things together.  In other words, he didn't want to push himself at a time when he's still trying to get a feel for the ball and pick up bad habits.
