...Yoshinori Sato will starting an intra-squad game on 2/13.  And a little more Yoshinori's 262-pitch bullpen:

He apparently started the 5 consecutive strikes in a row attempt after throwing his 140th pitch.  That means his session could have ended at 145.  Instead, he ended up throwing an an extra 122 pitches.

He threw with a popped blister on his middle finger.

He has now thrown a total 482 pitches over three bullpen session.  His goal was to throw more than 1,000 pitches during Spring camp.

...Tatsuro Hirooka was at Swallows' camp on Thursday and spent some time working with Yasuhiro Ichiba and Tatsuyoshi Masubuchi.

Hirooka also liked what he saw (defensively, specifically his throws to second from behind home plate) in Yuhei Nakamura and called him the next Atsuya Furuta.
