Yokohama Bay Stars: Castillo works out at second during situational fielding practice

...Jose Castillo nailed a 160m home run during BP on Saturday.  Head coach Makoto Shimada later told reporters that he could see Castillo hit at least 20 home runs this season.

...Hayato Terahara worked out from a different training menu on Saturday due to inflammation in his right hamstring.  Terahara felt some pain in his hamstring during workouts earlier in the day and was taken to the hospital for an examination.  The team will see how he does over the next couple / few days before allowing to re-join the rest of the group.

...Takao Obana threw close to 400 BP pitches to Seiichi Uchikawa over a span of about 45 minutes on Saturday.  He apparently hit about 95% of the pitches with the meat portion of the bat.

...Jose Castillo took part in his first round of situational fielding practice on Saturday.  Castillo manned second and worked on turning double plays.

...Seiichi Uchikawa has been working on his swing during Spring camp.  And instead of taking practice in the cages, he's facing live arms to the tune of almost 600 pitches a day.

...Yoshitomo Tsutsugo and the Bay Stars' rookies spent their day off visiting the Maritime Self Defense Force's Naha air base.
