...Shinya Miyamoto decided to take things down a notch after feeling some tightness in his right calf.  On Tuesday he took 40 swings during BP and recorded 13 could-be hits.

...Shohei Tateyama is trying to improve his delivery.  On Tuesday, he tried increasing his stride by a few fingers.  While increasing stride can move the pitcher's release point closer to the batter, it can also make it more difficult to pull your upper body around and / or throw your body out of balance.  After throwing a number of pitches using this test delivery, he realized it wasn't for him and moved to a new mound and went back to using his old delivery.

...Norichika Aoki told reporters that his legs are feeling great and that he's able to move around without any problems.  He also said that he had his sights sets on 200 hits (including a batting title), an RBI title, and now that his legs are feeling better, a stolen base title as well.

...Mikinori Kato was called up to Ichi-gun camp on Tuesday to hold a bullpen session and threw 100 pitches.  Ikusei player Rafael Fernandes also worked out at Ichi-gun camp.

...Kyohei Muranaka faced two batters during his BP session on Monday.  And according to Sponichi, he threw 29 pitches.  He also threw a new pitch he's been working on, the slurve, twice.

...Shohei Tateyama threw 20 pitches to a standing catcher during an unscheduled bullpen session on Monday.  Tateyama worked on bulking up during the off-season and can now bench as much as 124kg (~273 pounds).  He told reporters that it's the first time in his career that he's put on so much muscle.

...Norihiro Akahoshi dropped by Swallows' camp on Monday and had a chance to meet his former teammate, Atsushi Fujimoto.  He also gave out base-running advice to Hiroyasu Tanaka.
