General News: Pacific League Climax Series Basic Schedule Decided

...The Pacific League held a board of directors meeting in Okinawa on Wednesday and decided the basic schedule for the 2010 Climax Series. The schedule will be as follows:
The second and third place teams will play a three games series beginning on 10/9. The winner of the series will move on to the second stage and play 6 games against the first place team, starting on 10/14.
They also discussed HR replay rules and turned to the guidelines already set forth by the Central League for ideas.
A moment of silence was also held for Hiroyuki Oze.
...NPB Commissioner Ryozo Kato spoke of holding more baseball-related events (like the All-Star Game) in Okinawa. Especially when Onoyama Baseball Stadium in Naha re-opens after major renovations in March.
