Yokohama Bay Stars invite Ricky Barrett and Andrew Sisco for tryouts

Sisco will be arriving in Japan on the 14th. His tryout will run from the 16th (first day of the fourth session) until the 20th. The Bay Stars are hoping that he will be the lefty pitcher they have been looking for.

The Bay Stars announced on Friday that they have invited pitchers Ricky Barrett (28) and Andrew Sisco (27) to tryouts.

Barrett played for the Swallows in 2009 but never really managed to get things going. He also hurt his left elbow last season and returned to the US on 9/10 to have it checked out. He didn't return to the team after that.

Sisco has also bounced around a bit, starting his career with the Chigaco Cubs in 2001 before spending a couple years with the Royals and a year with the White Sox. He signed on with the Oakland Athletics after TJ surgery in March 2009, but did not log any innings.
