...Hiromistu Ochiai has taken a more hands-off approach to Spring camp this year.  He has the coaches working on the training / workout menus for general practice and is relying on individual players to figure out what kinds of things they need to work on after general practice ends.

...Keiji Oyama worked out on his day off Monday.  Oyama is trying to make up for some lost time -- he's missed a number of practices (out since the 10th) because he wasn't feeling well.  He spent about an hour and a half at the indoor training facilities at Yomitan Stadium, working on his swing.  Oyama told reporters that he was feeling much better and had started running 2 days ago.

...The Dragons announced their koikatsu (恋活) seats on Monday.  The seats will cost 10,000 yen for single men and 6,000 yen for single women.  The costs included dinner and a ticket to a game against the Hanshin Tigers on 4/4.  Interested parties can find more information at the official site.

...Kazuhiro Wada appears to be the only given in the outfield so far.  Dionys Cesar could end up winning a spot in center or right.

...Additional notes from Sunday's practice game against the LG Twins:

Yudai Kawai gave up 3 hits.

Atsushi Fujii started in center and batted second; he worked out three walks on full counts.

Nobumasa Fukuda was called up from Ni-gun for the game.
