...Four players, including Eiichi Koyano and Masayoshi Kato, visited a orphanage on their day off.  They spent time running around with the kids, playing catch with them, and signing autographs.

...Sunday's practice game against the Hanshin Tigers was rescheduled for Tuesday.

...Masaru Takeda was set to start the practice game against the Hashin Tigers on Sunday.  With the game getting canceled due to rain, Takeda's start was pushed to the 16th.  He did threw 45 pitches in the bullpen.

...Masao Kida held his fourth bullpen session in as many days at Ichi-gun camp on Sunday.  The 41-year-old threw to the 40-year-old Satoshi Nakajima to form an 81-year-old battery.  Kida threw 55 pitches (including his off-speed pitches).

...Asides from his 158-pitch bullpen session on Sunday, Yu Darvish also played long distance catch (about 50m) using his left arm.

...Sho Nakata has been showing a new side to him during Spring camp this year -- he's been staying back after practice for extra work, something he hasn't really done before.

...Brian Wolfe had his right elbow cleaned out in November but told reporters that he's doing just fine.  He threw about 10 pitches to a squatting catcher on Sunday.

...Atsunori Inaba received about 10 cardboard boxes full of chocolates on Valentine's day, the most on the team.  He had his arms full of chocolate after practice and handed out autographs as a thank you in return.
