...Yu Darvish did not throw any pitches in the bullpen on Wednesday since he's pitching against the SK Wyverns on Thursday.  Instead, he did some long toss and ran some sprints.

...Dai-Kang Yang (Yoh) is now 5-for-13 with 5 RBI over four practice games.  Yang is using a heavier bat this year -- he moved up from 890 grams to 920 grams -- with a grip similar to Atsunori Inaba's.

...Additional notes from Wednesday's practice game against the LG Twins:

Sho Nakata started in left and made a nice play leaping grab in the 10th inning with the bases loaded and 1 out.  On offense he went 1-for-4, including a GIDP in the 8th with runners on first and second and 1 out; and a strike out on three pitches in the 10th.

Masao Kida entered the game in the 5th and promptly struck out three batters in a row (7, 8, and 9 batters).  He threw 16 pitches topped out at 139km/h.

Yang (Yoh) ultimately went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.
