Hiroshima Carp to sign John Bale?

The Carp held a press conference Monday to introduce Bale as their latest addition. Hiroshima hopes to use Bale as an option out of the pen.

Seems like the two sides went ahead and signed a deal. The contract is supposedly worth 10M yen (plus incentives) with a signing bonus of 1M yen. The carp also assigned Bale the number 94.

The Hiroshima Carp are apparently on the verge of signing John Bale to a contract. It seems the basic language is already set and the two sides will meet to formalize a final agreement after Bale arrives in Japan on the 21st. Assuming everyone goes as planned, Bale will begin working out in Hiroshima.
Bale is no stranger to Hiroshima as he spent three years with the team between 2004 and 2006.
