...Masahiro Tanaka threw 131 pitches in a bullpen session on Friday.  The 131 pitches broke his previous high of 86 pitches so far during Spring camp.  Tanaka  had originally planned to throw just a tad over 100 pitches but decided to keep going in preparation for a practice game start against the Chunichi Dragons on the 23rd.

...Juan Morillo's 155km/h fastball broke Akihito Fujii's bat.  7 of 13 pitches Morillo threw were clocked at over 150km/h and 3 of those 7 hit 155km/h.  He also threw a 135km/h change that got Yusuke Kusuki to strike out swinging.

...Morillo, Kazuo Fukumori, Shinichiro Koyama, and Tsuyoshi Kawagishi are all likely in the running to be the team closer.
