Yokohama Bay Stars: Randolph feeling tightness in his right thigh

...Tasuku Hashimoto stayed back after general practice on Monday for about an hour's worth of extra BP.  Hashimoto injured in right knee and hasn't been able to do much running, but is able to hit and catch.

...Takehiro Ishikawa hurt his left thigh during practice on Monday.  He was taken to a hospital and was diagnosed with an internal bruise.  Ishikawa will require about a week for a full recovery.

Daisuke Hayakawa was diagnosed with inflammation in his left ankle.

Both players will not be at camp on the 23rd.

...Seiichi Uchikawa started swinging the bat (soft toss BP) again on Monday.  He was taking things easy after taking batted ball off his right hand during an intra-squad game on the 17th.  Uchikawa told reporters that he might be able to resume normal practice Tuesday.

...Stephen Randolph felt some tightness in his right thigh on Monday and worked out under a separate menu as a precaution.

...Yota Kosugi will be starting a practice game against the Nippon Ham Fighters on the 23rd.

...Yoshitomo Tsutsugo has been using one of Shuichi Murata's 960 gram bats since the 17th -- prior to that, his bats were usually somewhere between 920-930 grams.  Tsutsugo has told reporters that the heavier bat feels better in his hands.
