...A note from Tuesday's practice game against the Yakult Swallows:

Tae-Gyun Kim hit a solo homer off Ryo Kawashima in the 4th inning.

...Yuki Karakawa held a bullpen session on Tuesday and didn't appear to have any problems with the finger he a blister on.

...The Marines Ichi-gun players moved into Naha after Ishigakijima Spring camp ended on the 21st.

...Keisuke Hayasaka might be the Marines' next rain performer (the guy that runs out onto the field when there's a rain cancellation and slides into bases head first).  There are apparently three reqs for the position: speed, happy-go-luck personality, and not a starting player.  Hayasaka is apparently interested, but he's also not ready to give up a chance at a starting position.  Seems he'd like to do both.

OF / base running coach Kenji Morozumi has been in charge of sliding in the rain up until now.

...Marines are already thinking about what kinds of things they'll need to do for Spring camp next year if they're able to draft and sign Yuki Saito (like transportation, security, and necessary PR personnel).
