Akinori Iwamura took part in early morning BP on the 26th (start time 8:30am).  He told reporters that he's trying to revert his batting stance to the one he used while playing for the Yakult Swallows.

Hideki Matsui continues to take fielding practice in the outfield.  He also took some BP in the cages on the 26th.  Matsui told reporters that he's finally getting used to his new environment.

Matsui will likely make his "debut" as a DH against the Chicago White Sox on 3/4 (exhibition game).

Kenshin Kawakami threw 40 pitches in the bullpen on the 26th.  He's working on making his delivery a little more compact.

Junichi Tazawa threw 39 pitches during BP on the 26th -- he allowed 6 could-be hits, including 2 home runs.  Tazawa is scheduled for another BP on the 28th.

Daisuke Matsuzaka could throw a bullpen as early as the 27th.  He played catch at a distance of about 40 meters on the 26th.  Matsuzaka also took part in a charity golf event later in the days.

Hideki Okajima faced Mike Cameron, Bill Hall, and Jed Lowrie during his BP session on the 25th.

A ball took a bad hop during fielding practice on the 26th and hit Kazuo Matsui on the right cheek.  It apparently wasn't anything too serious.

Koji Uehara will likely be pitching BP on the 28th.  He plans on throwing some off-speed pitches to see how his arm is doing.
